Description
Biovac A Vaccine is injected into the upper arm muscle (deltoid). A single dose imparts adequate immunoprotection in children 1 year of age and above. Adults who have not been vaccinated previously and want to be protected against hepatitis A can also get the vaccine. A booster dose is usually not required for both child and adult. Ensure the injection site is clean and follow your healthcare provider’s instructions to get the most benefit from the vaccine. The best way to prevent hepatitis A is through vaccination.
The most common side effects include injection site soreness, headache, nausea, fatigue, and loss of appetite. They do not normally last very long. Sitting or lying down can sometimes help. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worry you.
Avoid Biovac A Vaccine if you are allergic to any of its components, have a severe illness, or a high fever. Do not recieve the vaccine if you have a compromised immune system. Always inform your doctor about any allergies or medical conditions before getting vaccinated. Some medicines may react with Biovac A Vaccine, so let your doctor know if you are on treatment with any other medicines.
